Aspire Photography has now become HEART IN MOTION PHOTOGRAPHY.

They say a change is as good as a holiday, so I'm in the Bahamas (I wish) !!

Well, I bet you thought I'd disappeared! It's been soooo long since I've blogged! I have had a wonderful break over the Christmas period with my family and friends - one of the best summers yet!!! I have also been working on something exciting, so I haven't been taking a complete break. WATCH THIS SPACE!

I had a fabulous weekend away with our great friends up at Boomerang Beach, near Pacific Palms, in January. I took the opportunity to photograph their family, which they have been waiting so patiently for!

Fun, Love and Family

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family on their gorgeous property a few weeks ago. I could feel so much love between this family, starting with the parents! We had so many beautiful spots to shoot, I was in my element!

It was so peaceful and quiet, I could have stayed for a few days!!

Thanks to you guys for such a fabulous afternoon, it was a privilege to capture the connections between your family.

Check this gorgeous family out!!! I had a fun morning with these guys and their beautiful little boy. Of course they had to take their 2nd son Leeroy (the one with the collar and lead!) along. I have so many gorgeous shots, just thought I'd share a few.

They asked me to do a shot of Leeroy running. I thought OK, that won't be too bad. Until I look through the lens!!! I had their precious pooch running full speed straight at me, whilst I crouched down on the grass. Needless to say, I was just about frozen!

We had to have some skin on skin shots with Dad. Don't you love the dimples in the bottom! Come on girls, I know you are looking at the baby!

Little bundle

I photographed this tiny little bub (only 2 weeks old) and his big brother, a few weeks ago. They are just soo cute. Their very clever Mum and Grandma made both the quilt and the checked blanket.

Don't you love the innocence of a toddler. You can grab such beautiful shots when they least expect it. It's not all about looking and smiling into the camera.

I had a wonderful afternoon a couple of weeks ago with these adorable little girls at their beautiful home just outside of Maitland.

It had rained all the week prior and then we had this glorious afternoon, just in time for their photo shoot. PERFECT!

We started out just playing in the backyard then I asked one of the girls to pick a flower, well they went on a 'flower picking' adventure. It made for some gorgeous shots!!

Such girly girls...........I love it!!

Don't you love the pretty dresses teamed with the gum boots! Just gorgeous.....

Precious Bundle

I had the pleasure of catching up with this family again a couple of weeks ago to photograph their precious new addition to their family. I photographed little Miss C when she was a newborn a few years ago. As I've mentioned before, this is what I LOVE about my job, becoming the 'family' photographer. It's amazing having the little ones greet you at the door, having not seen them since they too, were a newborn. I'm thrilled to walk into their homes and see my enlargements on their walls from their last baby shoot. Beautiful photos of your babies are truly priceless!!

This little Miss G was just 16 days old! How gorgeous is she?

An apple a day.....

This cute little brother and sister had a great time running around whilst I followed close behind with my camera.

This model work was getting a bit much and they decided to stop for a bite to eat. Their mum was hesitant to give them anything in fear of getting messy. She decided to give them apple (less mess!). Sharing the apple made for great photos and giggles. I just love the way kids are happy with the simple things in life!

Family Fun

I had another great afternoon on the mountain a few weeks ago, it was a magic afternoon! The weather was fantastic and the light was gorgeous! The kids were just great and as you can see, not afraid of the camera (which was fabulous!).

As I mentioned haven't had chance to post any new work lately. I did this shoot a few weeks ago with some past clients who decided to head to beach this time.

There were actually 2 different families for this shoot. We had a fun afternoon, had gorgeous light and a lot of laughs once again.

Well my glowing pregnant mum-to-be had her bub a few weeks ago. A bouncing baby boy. Here's a few shots of the gorgeous little one with his very proud parents.

My 4 year old says that looking at babies makes her 'teeth tickle'!!! What a gorgeous expression! Out of the mouth of babes.................

Fun on the mountain

I had the pleasure of spending a great afternoon up at the Watagan Mountains last Saturday afternoon to photograph this gorgeous family. They spend quite a bit of time at the Mountains so they thought it would be the ideal spot for their family shoot. I haven't been up to the mountains for a couple of years and had forgotten about the beautiful serenity and great surrounds. We are truly blessed where we live, having so many wonderful places to visit, all within a short drive.

The kids were so good and we had lots of fun!

I had lots of fun with this couple recently. This expectant mum was glowing. Can't say I was 'glowing' at this stage of my pregnancies! Thanks guys for being so laid back and relaxed. It's always great to be part of this special time. Not long now until bubby is born, looking forward to seeing the 'three' of you soon.

BULA from FIJI

We had such a wonderful, relaxing holiday in Fiji at the end of July. Of course, I had to take the 'third child' (that's what hubby calls my camera).

I wanted to share some of my favourite shots. We took a walk down the road from our resort to visit the local village of "Malevu". It's been 15 years since I've been to Fiji and it hasn't changed a bit, which is just wonderful. It's still a beautiful holiday destination with beautiful people. We really wanted our kids to see how the Fijians live and to spend some time with the locals. We took gifts for the local kids and they just loved them. Our kids were so excited to give them to them. The energy and spirit of these gorgeous little ones is amazing. I laughed and filled with tears at the joy on their faces. I've always been drawn to photographing children on my travels over the years, I feel that every child has a story.

I had such a fabulous couple of hours capturing their way of life and the true essence of Fiji!!!!!

I photographed my girlfriend's bubby today who is child number 5 in the family! Needless to say, she's a very busy woman. He's just soo cute. I'm loving my new rug if you can't tell.

Of course, two of his older brothers had to get in on the act. I didn't even pose them!!! Gorgeous!

Two little possums

I had such a funny, giggling morning photographing these little possums again yesterday. I photographed Little Miss A when she was a newborn and now she's 9 months old and still has those amazing eyes. Check out her big brother, Master D's gorgeous eyes too! What beautiful kiddies!

It's such a privilege to become the 'family' photographer. I truly love having the opportunity to capture their little personalities as they grow and change. I even got smarties from little Master D yesterday. I just love it!

What a fantastic afternoon I had last Friday with this great couple. Young and in love......so we had fun!!! Newcastle is such a fabulous place to shoot, we were able to get so many different looks within 5 mins of each other.

Had to share some of my faves.....

I took them to this great alley way where I wanted to photograph them in front of an old wrought iron gate and to my disappointment, there were 2 cars parked in front of it. But it certainly turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as one of them was a hot rod!!! So we used it to our advantage and it became my backdrop for some great shots!!

I bought my Miss Muffett this gorgeous red coat at the beginning of winter and have been dying to get out and take some pics of her. As you can see by the leaves, it was a few weeks ago.

I had another fabulous opportunity to photograph for a great website based in Newcastle called "Style Hunter" which is an online fashion directory showcasing a comprehensive listing of online boutiques for jewellery, shoes, handbags and accessories in Australia and New Zealand. Check it out at http://www.stylehunter.com.au/ . Just a word of warning, make sure you have a cuppa in hand, because it's hard to actually get off the site there are soooo many great links!!!

I photographed for them when they launched the site back in 2006. This was an update of images and we thought we'd capture the stunning colour that we were blessed with at the beginning of Autumn. Of course, it wasn't hard to capture the beauty of our gorgeous model!!

I just love this time of the year. The weather is glorious, the trees have beautiful rich golden colours and there's something about the light at in Autumn. I photographed these little cuties on Saturday. They were such good kids and just great posers, made my job so easy!!

Little Master 'H' is generally a quiet, shy little boy, but you know, he could have posed for a Pumpkin Patch catalogue on Saturday!!

Terrigal Beach

I had the pleasure of photographing something different (well for me that is) yesterday. I was asked to take some photographs for a client's holiday house in Terrigal so they can display a canvas on their wall of the beautiful Terrigal Beach. They actually grew up around Terrigal and the beach has special memories for them.

I love photographing people but it was great to photograph such a beautiful landscape and what a spectacular afternoon it was.

I just thought I'd share with you some photos I took of a family at their home in January. Often we think we have to leave the home to get good shots of the kids. Sometimes it's nice to include the kids' toys and their bedrooms etc, it makes the images more personal. And the kids often relax too!

I asked Master 'J' to show me his favourite car, so of course, it had to be the red one...........they go faster!!

Here's a couple of shots from a gorgeous family I photographed the other week. I had the pleasure of photographing little Master 'C' when he was 6 months old, now he has a little brother, Master 'E' and he is such a cutie!

Welcome to my blog! I've decided to keep you all updated on my wonderful life of photography and share with you some of the images of my gorgeous clients, their kids and families, and hopefully provide you with a little entertainment along the way

I'm always being asked what kind of photography I do, so I thought this was a great idea to be able to share this with friends and anyone else out there who's interested.

My website has been in the making for many months now and for all of you that keep asking me (and rightly so!) IT'S ALMOST FINISHED!!!!! So keep an eye out.
